Dear Parents and Guardians, My name is Acacia Garcia and I have been working and observing in your childs

classroom for the past few months. I am very excited to say that this semester I will be student teaching in your childs class. Your child knows me well, but I would love to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in California and moved to South Carolina in 2006. I graduated with honors from Westside High School in Anderson, SC in 2010. I am now a senior at Lander University and will be graduating on May 03, 2014. I love spending time with my family and my fianc. They are a great support system. I have worked in classrooms with children ages 3-7 in the past and have loved every minute. During this semester, I hope to learn more about what its like being a teacher to young children in hopes of becoming a great teacher in the future. Attached to this letter is a form to tell me more about your child and his or her interests. Please fill this form out and return back to me as soon as possible. I want to thank you for allowing me to be in your childs classroom to watch them grow and learn. I know I will enjoy every minute!

Thank you,

Acacia Garcia
