of Academic work

Most academic writing is in order to share new information and talk about authors ideas to other people. The social science writing is almost same. The authors should present their date in their article to explain what those date stand for, as well as in the larger context of current scientific research. To achieve goals to make reader understand, authors should use specific structural and linguistic practices to make their writing much difference between other academic writing. The language analysis writing from Internet and Higher Education 2010 Findings on Face book in higher education: A comparison of college faculty and student uses and perceptions of social networking sites demonstrates how scientists not only rely on carefully reflect and prove their research process but also concise and neutral language to show their clear and unbiased organization structure. Paying attention to the structure and language research report that allowed scientists (author) presented their finding and the importance of establishing credibility. Nowadays, the technology is becoming more and more effective and the science research is becoming more and more accurate and complex. As a result, one of the

most important aspects of scientific research is that scientists have for each other and current scientific research by copying an existing research to study or adding the research object more extension of existing research with more data. This is the important recognize to knowledge, scientific articles function as a medium of communication in the development of Social Science in the field of current research. As a means of communication, in the field of academic literature scholars, the article follows a very special structure; this is not at all surprising. The structure is definite as a common structure among scientists in the field. One of the most important feature of science writing is that scientist will do their best to points in writing clear and accurate. Scientist often writes their writing in five parts, in the Findings on Face book in higher education: A comparison of college faculty and student uses and perceptions of social networking sites written by M.D. Roblyer, Michelle McDaniel, Mareena, Webb, James Herman, James Vince Witty. They development the writing in introduction, background and theoretical framework, study methodology, study result and implications, and conclusion: Facebooks future in education and society. In the beginning, authors talk about the face book and the future of teaching and learning, growth of social networking, study purpose and research questions. The authors were giving some example in the future of teaching and learning, and more focus on the growth of social networking in the second parts. Scientists talk about the situation according different kinds of science reports and determine the goal of this writing Some 73% said faculty lack of interest was an

impediment; The study found that 54% (of institutions) reported that (teacher) candidates lack of interest was not at all a barrier, and 41% reported it as a barrier to a minor extent (p. 11). In sum, students are willing; faculty members are not. According this research, we can easy to se where the problem is. In second part,

First authors were talking about the background. Authors introduce the history about the social networking sites, and use data to prove the current uses of social networking sites among young people and school 76% of online teens said they would miss the Internet if they could no longer go online. 48% said their use of the Internet improves their relationship with friends. 32% say Internet tools help them make new friends. Another important in second part is current use of social networking sites at the college level. This part includes three things: library uses, faculty uses, and Administrative uses. Authors gave the example for each part. In the third part is about study methodology, they gave two ways about this. One is study procedures and data sources, another is data analysis procedures, and authors also gave some sentence to explain each of them. The next part is about study results and implications. Authors gave three different complex form to prove the point of background information on survey respondents: ethnicity and sex, frequencies, percentages, and Chi square comparisons of various Facebook uses by college faculty and students, and frequencies, percentages, and Chi square comparisons of college faculty and students on Facebook uses in education . Last part is conclusion: Facebooks future in education and society? And used the quotation to give this point.

I now see Face book as part of a larger commons, a space in which we stay connected (it helps) keep my metaphorical door open, and that increases the potential for real time, face-to face conversations that are rich with connection, depth, risk-taking, and growth In the structure of scientific papers is a process of scientific research itself. This is a neat reflection. Sentence structure helps the objectivity and scientific exploration and research. The structure of a sentence depends on the specificity and simplicity to establish clear idea. The way to analyze the sentences using by find the simple and complex sentence in their writing and analyze the word used in the writing especially verbs. In section 2.3.1 Library uses fourth and fifth paragraph, there are 7 simple sentences out of all 21 sentences, 12 complex sentences out of all 21 sentences, 0 compound sentences out of all sentences and also. The simple sentence and complex sentences is (7:21). Simple sentences help the researchers to have a clear description, data and conclusions and also provide details supporting evidence and complex sentence to deepen the reader's understanding. In addition, the authors often use the phrase "report,.." And "show..." these words can express specific information. Whats more, the author use different subject sentences which were almost from some sources. These problems show that scientists did a lot of research writing. All of these structural elements allow scientists to communicate which is the study of detail with clear and concise way. Authors also used four indirect quotes in the article, these is very important I think, Its not only make the point more powerful, but also make writer can paraphrase rather than

direct references to communicate effectively. This important detail make reader more understanding the point witch is authors talking about. To conclusion, this article is a typical scientific writing , its not only use the simple , complex sentence, but also use lot of data research and quotation. I think it is a very nice example to study how to writ this type writing.
