April 14th, 2014, NYC On Thursday, April 24th from 4:00- 11:00pm Planet Heart, a project of We, the World, will present its 8th Annual World Peace Earth Day Celebration and Benefit. The event will take place on two floors, upstairs devoted to speakers, live music and celebration, while downstairs will feature healthy food and conscious exhibitors. Program starts at 5pm sharp. The admission which is tax deductible is $25 in advance, $30 at the door. This is a community gathering open to the public for people interested in making a difference in the world and also is a benefit for We, the World and Planet Heart. Our HONORABLE KEYNOTE SPEAKER is Gary Null. This years event also features a special message from Subud Center and two exciting panel discussions on local and global ecology, sustainability and local and global peace building moderated by the notable Mitchell Rabin (eco-panel), host of A Better World Radio & TV, and Paul Sladkus, (world peace panel) host of Good News Planet. Featured panelists include co-producer Christine Marie aka IMOV, Conscious Pop Artist and founder of IMOV International Wellness Through Entertainment , Rick Ulfik, award-winning composer-pianist, founder of We, the World and the WE Campaign; Michael Winn, author and president of Healing Tao, USA; Dan Miner, District Manager of Manhattan Community Board 6 and longtime environmental activist; Rev. Deborah Moldow, World Peace Prayer Society representative to the United Nations; SuZen, founder-director of Universal Peace Day and the NYC Peace Museum; Native Elder Spokesperson Bishop Grandmother Lygia M. De Castro; Rev. Susana Bastarrica, founder of the Vigil for International Peace and Ecology. We are planning a year-long campaign with four quarterly events to follow to continue our purpose to spread awareness of peace and sustainability. Performers includes Conscious Pop Artist Christine Marie aka IMOV; Grammy award nominee Dalien aka 13 HANDS; Lalie, singer, Emmy-Award winning producer; and vocalist songpoet Lisa Roma aka Electrik Goddess Orquestra, founder-director of Creative Womens Network, as well as Truth Now. The final portion of the evening will be with a participatory interactive flow of live performances, movement, prayer and celebration. Planet Heart and the Annual World Peace Earth Day Celebration, founded by Andrew Kaen, who is also the Executive Producer, is a project of We, the World, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. It has been providing New York City with entertaining and conscious Earth Day events since 2007. With the intention of encouraging CONSCIOUS AWARENESS of world peace as well as sustainability and caring for our planet for all humans and living beings of and including Mother Earth, in the footsteps of John McConnell, US Senator Gaylord Nelson, conservationist essayist John Muir, and the First Peoples of the Earth, with the countless millions of people around the globe who voice and act their concern and dedication for our planets protection on an ongoing basis.
