The skills I have already obtained in my life I know will be very beneficial because they are skills an employer expects when hiring a new employee. I have great communication and organizational skills from communicating with classmates, teachers, as well as presenting presentations and writing essays. I have become well organized. By having a busy schedule with school and work, I must be organized in order to stay update with assignments and homework. I have also developed great computer skills with all the time I have spent on the computer for school assignments. I work very efficient and effectively at the task I am giving. I can apply my problem solving and critical thinking skills when given a task to do on my own or a group task. The skills I will develop 6 weeks from now I will complete my critical care certificate because it is a definite must. In four months from now I will be volunteering in health facilities to obtain experience in the work place by interacting with the employers and patients in the facility. I will also be able to get a feel of what it is like to one day be a ! or "!. # year or so from now I will be on my way to completing college to becoming a "! or !. I will have had much clinical experience in a fast paced environment so I know what to expect when I do get hired for a ! or "! position.

The skill I have been focusing that is important for my career is being in being in the program I am in now, $eneral #rts and %cience &ealth "reparation. By taking this course I am developing the skills and knowledge that I can take with me into the nursing program of next year. I have developed the re'uired skills and by having the re'uired skills I have been accepted into the "! program. I have showed that I have the necessary knowledge and understanding of the re'uired courses of chemistry, biology and (nglish that they expect for nursing students. I have worked very hard and will continue to work hard to go further into my education. (ven though I have not completed the nursing program yet, I already have a plan and goals set for myself to get me there. I will attend college for "! for two years then apply to university so the ! program. I will keep working hard, staying organized to get me to the career I desire to have.
