This is a credible source because Maris Vinovskis served as a consultant on population and adolescent
pregnancy issues in the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in the early 1980s. Vinovskis has published ten books, edited seven books, and written over 100 scholarly essays. He was a member of the
congressionally-mandated Independent Review Panels for Goals 2000 and No Child Left Behind. He has
received a Guggenheim fellowship and was elected to the National Academy of Education, the International Academy of Education, and President of the History of Education Society.

The main objective of this study was to examine whether pregnancy among 18 years old and younger girls were associated with selected individual (age at coitarche, score of sexual health knowledge, dislike of school) and family (mother's education) and family functioning (alcohol abuse in the family, parents acceptance of sexual
relationship) characteristics.
This interview study is a very unique method I can use to interpret the data in regards to the determinants of teenage pregnancy that can be addressed from social familial and individual level perspectives.

This book is a collection of essays presenting a variety of points of view on the topic of teenage pregnancy. It discusses global perspectives on adolescent pregnancy. Some examples of the views discussed are views of rates: rising vs. falling; sex education: if the system failed or not failing in schools; contraceptives and deceiving ourselves about sex.
I really love the fact that this book isnt bias. It breakdown views that blames society, but then also have a
view stating that its the individual. In my research process majority of the articles are about teenage
