1.1
Scope
Before mounting the electrohydraulic actuator to the valve, you have to verify that the following parts are included in the transport packaging:
If contractually agreed, the documentation and operating instructions are delivered separately on a CD. If no separate delivery on a CD was agreed, the documentation and the operating instructions are delivered together with the actuator. Documentation: Scope according to table of contents
A nameplate is attached to the actuators housing. It shows the exact type designation, the serial number/job order number and other important data. Compare the serial number/job order number on the nameplate with the serial number/job order number on the test report, which is

attached as Annex to these operating instructions (see chapter 1 and documentation). Inform Bosch Rexroth immediately, if
the consignment is not complete the delivered items deviate from the delivery note or the packing
list the details on the nameplate differ from those given on the technical drawing or the parts list the serial number/job order number specified on the electrohydraulic actuator differs from the number indicated in the test report. Operating instructions, technical drawings, test reports and parts lists must always be kept together.
1.2
Nameplate
Electrohydraulic actuators of types " CGE1...2X/... (extending) and CXE12X/ (retracting) can be clearly identified with the help of the nameplate.
1.3
draulic actuator is suitable with the forces (on the spring package) described in the manufacturers documents at temperatures specified in the manufacturers documents in rooms, for which they are suitable in conjunction with valves for which the electrohydraulic actuator is rated according to the technical planning.

1.4
Wrongful use
Any application that does not comply with the specifications is regarded as wrongful use. This includes:
Places of operation, for which the electrohydraulic actuator was
not designed Forces (on the spring package) which do not correspond to the specified requirements Temperatures other than those specified in the manufacturers documents Valves for which the electrohydraulic actuator is not rated according to the technical planning.
Wrongful use can result in personal injury of the operator or third parties. Moreover, the electrohydraulic actuator itself or other property may be damaged.
