Panthera
Panthera is an NGO specialising in the conservation of wild cats and their ecosystems. Pantheras Tigers Forever program is committed to increasing tiger numbers by attacking the most critical threat to tigers- poaching. Panthera works closely with partner organisations in national parks in Sumatra and provides training of rangers and project staff.

Job description
We require a full-time member of staff to assist us with all aspects of capacity building of security teams in several parks in Indonesia, to set up cutting-edge law enforcement monitoring software and develop and maintain patrol databases. The successful applicant should be interested in hands-on conservation and improving park security. The successful applicant will work closely with biologists and rangers in the park and assist all aspects of monitoring.

Responsibilities
1. Assist with managing the SMART database and producing regular security bulletins and monthly reports. 2. Involved in developing conservation technology within the park. 3. Training and assisting staff in data collection and database management techniques.

Requirements
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. University degree in geographical or biological sciences. Minimum grade of 3.0. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and ArcGIS. Good level of spoken and written English. Ability to work well in a team. Working knowledge of SMART software and familiarity with enforcement patrol techniques a plus, however training will be provided.
