Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands October 2012-Present Volunteer Advocate - Accompany survivors to local emergency rooms, provide information about the sexual assault evidence collection process, reporting to law enforcement, and services available from STSM and other agencies, as well as providing emotional support to the survivor and their family and friends. Additionally responsible for answering hotline calls from survivors or community members who need support and/or more information on sexual assault and services offered by STSM.
