______________________________________________________________________________________________ 9. DIFFERENTIATION: How will I differentiate the content knowledge of this lesson so as to include all learners in a mixed ability class? This class has a mixed level of ability with two students whom have learning difficulties. In order to accommodate those students, I will constantly check for understanding and provide one to one assistance while others are completing an activity. I will also ask a series of higher and lower order questions as a way to assess all levels of ability. By linking the students prior knowledge to the lesson, this will make the learning process easier as the students can relate directly to what is being taught. For those students whom are of a high ability, I will direct the higher order questions towards them in order to assess their understanding of the material presented. I will also incorporate activities into the class based on what has been presented. While this is taking place I will help the certain individuals that require assistance during this task. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ 10.
