Rhetorical Rationale for the Midterm Portfolio

During the writing time of the summary, visual analysis and rhetorical analysis assignments for my English 1010 class I applied what I considered was the correct use of rhetoric, always avoiding the use of bias !n the summary I condensed in my own words the main points in the passage that helps the reader to understand the piece I read about !n the visual and essay rhetorical analysis, I bro"e down ideas, analy#e, $uote, discovered pathos, ethos and logos used by authors %hat helped me improve my strategy of rhetoric

&e got in groups in the class and reviewed each other wor" in detail, as critical thin"ers the members wrote comments of what they thin" that needed to be edited on each paper %he group activity was helpful' get the papers revised by different people even though they are students helps to identify what needs to be improve I too" in consideration all the comments, analy#ed them and made the changes that I thought were needed to have better drafts &hen we get together as a group to get each other feedbac" on drafts review, students are all getting a symbiotic benefit where all learn something

(esides my English 1010 class I ta"e an editing and revising class which teaches me how to revise my papers, in addition to that I visit the writing center to get advice on what I need to wor" on in order to have better grades I can say that I am more efficient with the use of rhetoric
