"Electricity." U.S. Energy Information Administration. Government, 12 Mar 2014. Web. 12 Mar 2014. <http://www.eia.gov/electricity/>. This website is very helpful due to the fact it gives facts about electricity for the whole nation. This relates to my topic by giving me definite facts about electricity that I want to mention at the start of my paper. This website will not be my best source because it does not talk about what my community is really about. I hope to find more sources that relate to my paper.

"USNRC." Operating Nuclear Reactors. Government, 28 Jan 2014. Web. 15 Mar 2014. <http://www.nrc.gov/info-finder/reactor/>. I believe that this website will help me see where the different power plants throughout the United States. There is a map of all the power plants and it is amazing to see that most of the power plants are on the east coast side. I hope to really get some good use out of this website. This will help me on my research for why and how much longer the world can take the pollution from all of the power plants.

"Chesapeake Bay Foundation." Power Plant Facts. N.p., n.d. Web. 15 Mar 2014. <http://www.cbf.org/how-we-save-the-bay/issues/air-pollution/odec/facts-about-odecpower-plant>. This source will be last website that I will use for this paper. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation provides facts about what pollution can do to the world. It also talks about how pollution can destroy the water and natural air on the planet. Within pollution, the good air on the planet combines with the pollution and will affect what human beings breathe in. Along with facts, it has good reasons that back up the facts.

Abramovich, Sigal. Marine Pollution Bulletin. 62. Elsevier, 2011. 1002-1012. eBook. <http://www.sciencedirect.com.librarylink.uncc.edu/science/article/pii/S0025326X11001 07X>. The author of this article talks about a power plant that is in Israel called the Hadera Power Plant. Within the article, the author mentions how bad that power plant is affecting the people in that area. Over the course of time, the people in Israel have been having side effects from the pollution. People have even died from the pollution in Israel due to this power plant.

Orishchuk. Engineering. 47. Foundation Engineering, 2010. 62-67. eBook. <http://eds.a.ebscohost.com.librarylink.uncc.edu/ehost/detail?sid=0e7da180-b222-47e5b72951291fe0a50a@sessionmgr4004&vid=3&hid=4111&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3Qtb Gl2ZSZzY29wZT1zaXRl>. This source is not really about the pollution which is what I am wanting to focus on. This source is more about the construction and engineering of how a power plant works. I feel that is really important to know because it will help me understand the building of an actual power plant. Maybe with this better understanding, I could maybe even propose a new way to construct so it will not give off as much pollution. That would be more off topic but this source will definitely have a use in my paper.

Fuente, Daniel. Mapping Air Pollution. 2. 14. Elsevier, 2013. 138-145. eBook. <http://www.sciencedirect.com.librarylink.uncc.edu/science/article/pii/S1296207412000 945>. This source may be one of my top sources. It talks about where the pollution goes after it leaves the power plant. With this source, it will help me map out where the pollution is more focused in the world. If it is more around the cities, oceans, or just everywhere in general. Also, this article talks about that pollutants can be passed down and inherited.

Levy, Jonathan. Environmental Health Perspectives. 5. 115. Brogan & Partners, 2012. 743-750. eBook. <http://www.jstor.org.librarylink.uncc.edu/stable/4489022>. This source talks about what strategies the United States to prevent air pollution. This article mainly says what chemicals are bad for people and how the EPA has done to try to protect the people. Sulfur Oxide is one of the worse chemicals that comes from pollution. It will destroy anything in its path and could be very dangerous if not handled correctly.

Curry, Andrew. 17. 129. U.S. News & World Report: U.S. News & World Report, 2000. 30. eBook. <http://eds.a.ebscohost.com.librarylink.uncc.edu/eds/detail?sid=0e1db238-04a24dd88facf0f2c930dc3d@sessionmgr4005&vid=3&hid=4111&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWRzL WxpdmUmc2NvcGU9c2l0ZQ=>. At the beginning of this article, the first question is, Is pollution killing people? That is a good question that I want to know more about. What if people are dying because of the pollutants but it only takes 70-80 years to kill people? I feel like there is more to the pollutant that people are not telling the public. I feel like this article will back up my proposal.

"Nuclear Power Closures." Inside Climate News. Web. 15 Mar 2014. <http://insideclimatenews.org/news/20130924/first-us-nuclear-power-closures-15-yearssignal-wider-problems-industry>. This is a website that I found while doing some research about power plants. This website shows what power plants that have closed down within the last 15 years. Surprisingly, there has been a lot of power that have recently shut down due to no need for it in the area any more. Power plants are so closing put together that people have figured out a way to run more peoples power off of one plant as opposed to having ran off different ones for no reason.

The Effects of Pollution. 1. 21. American Fitness, 2003. 141. eBook. <http://eds.b.ebscohost.com.librarylink.uncc.edu/ehost/detail?sid=b53795de-0827-4a6494ea6b3f02d8503f@sessionmgr114&vid=5&hid=116&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3QtbGl 2ZSZzY29wZT1zaXRl>. This article wraps up my research. This article concludes my research because it is the final effects after years of pollution. With what I have seen in science classes, this article really helps me out because this could help me with the stop pollution before everything gets effected. Not only does pollution hurt people but it will also hurt the animals and environment around it.
