each others log post! Students will look for evidence and research that accurately supports the conte"t and setting in which the post takes place #i!e!$ a %apanese &nt! 'a(p during WW&&)! *t the end of each partners draft$ his or her editing partner will write two praises and two criti+ues,suggestions for the draft! Students will trade drafts with each other and students should have their drafts reviewed y at least - students! The second half of class is devoted to students working individually #for the (ost part) to (ake revisions! Students will peer review their class(ates work$ and will then revise their individual work! Tuesday 'lass will ring topics that have een learned and discussed into the present day! &ssues concerning the Mos+ue in ./' post01,22 will e discussed and how this is a current e"a(ple of pre3udice in a ti(e of national crisis! 'lass will Skype and hold a 45* session with an *ra *(erican who was a victi( of post01,22 pre3udice in the 6!S! Wednesday Students revise their piece the entire period! Thursday 7u lication and presentation of students work on class site! This will e displayed on the S(art8oard and students will have the opportunity to present and discuss what they wrote and the writing process for the(! Friday Wrap0up activity! 8ring it to (odern day issues! The key story to e addressed will e the Donald Sterling controversy! 'lass will appropriately discuss the co((ents he (ade and the conse+uences and possi le ways to alleviate such current pre3udices!

Students will get the opportunity to ask +uestions to a victi( of present0day pre3udice that is analogous to what they have learned on the %apanese &nt! 'a(ps! Students will then take the last 9 (inutes of class to write a rief reflection
