Fall 2013 Presented daily lesson plans and assessed student work utilizing Common Core Standards (30 hrs.). Created and implemented four lessons with formative assessments in Modern US History to 12th grade students.

East Central Illinois Refugee Mutual Assistance Center, Urbana, IL - Volunteer


Tutored refugee students between the ages of 5-15 in Reading, Math, and Social Science. Planned and facilitated five English lessons between two local Champaign/Urbana schools.

YoungLife Youth Ministries, Champaign, IL Leader

Fall 2010 - 2011 Organized motivational talks and youth development activities to over 50 high school students. Acted as a mentor while planning team-building activities for a group of 15 high school students. Language proficiency in Spanish six years and one semester Study Abroad. J. Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation - Interviewed and selected to represent Naperville Central HS as one of twenty Chicago area high school sophomores attending a one week Leadership Skills and Training Program in Colorado.
