In what way do you think you should be more involved?


Self-evaluation To put or discuss the criteria of the evaluation with the coordinator before the survey. Teachers should know in what ways they have improved, where exactly is the gap and how they can fix it. Setting a goal and working towards achieving it. parfois le professeur ne comprend pas pourquoi il a ete evalue de la sorte .Il faut mieux lui donner la chance de discuter l' evaluation juste dans le but de comprendre ou resident ses points faibles dans le but de les ameliorer. merci As an instructional coach ,I suggest to videotape selected sessions of my fellow colleagues. This will enable us to collect and analyse data to support the teachers if needed or even share the best sessions with other departments. We could meet to prepare questionnaires to be handed to our students at the end of the term . In being able to discuss the result with the evaluator

In what way do you think you should be more involved?


We should take into consideration the teacher's point of view regarding student's evaluation. Knowing that the teacher is directly involved in this process and is the only one who can give accurate feedback regarding the student. It's better if this evaluation is based on more visits and not in particular to one visit only! The points included in this evaluation cannot be all covered in one period and its unfair to judge a teacher accordingly! The teacher has the right to give his opinion, at least in his evaluation. teachers evaluation

The teacher should always read the evaluation and discuss it with the director, the head of department & the coordinators...so that he approves on what has been reported or to clarify some points, to defend himself, to learn from his mistakes...
L'evaluation est une tache si importante qu'on ne peut rsumer en quelques sances. Peut-etre le prof n'tait pas l'aise le jour demand. Deux ou trois rencontres suffireront-elles pour juger un rendement hebdomadaire mensuel et annuel continu? Le rendement des lves, leur progression,et meme leur vision du prof n'aura aucune importance? In order to improve the evaluation process at the Lebanese School ,we are expected to frequently meet with other instructional coaches from other departments .We could also videotape the most successful sessions and use them to set examples during Department meetings. This evaluation process should be seen as a motivator and developer of the teacher's skills. After the result of the evaluation is shared with the teacher, it should be made sure that neither the teacher nor the evaluator shares the results with others. More trainings by skilful specialists. The most important issue after this evaluation is the reward that results from it! The best appraisal must be rewarded in a way that pushes other teachers to achieve more!!

Evaluation for any teacher should concentrate on the class average, it is not fair to see the class average is above 80 over 100 in a certain subject at the same time the teacher is unqualified , where is the logic in this qualification? Reduce the working hours for the teacher so he could be more productive. Reduce the student's number in class. Evaluation of teachers does not give a good result for some of them, because some teachers are not getting their rights, they are getting only good words and compliments, without any improvement in their income, while some new teachers are getting twice more than the existing teachers that are working hard, and making a good name for the school, I believe the finance representative must not be responsible for the increment of teachers, this point must be in the hand of the principle of the school, in addition to the direct responsible sections, because they know the productivity of each teacher. Finally, we hope the management of LSQ to give the teachers their rights, and to be fair. ( ) .
