1. Write a memoir about a signicant event in your own life.! In a 1-page memoir, identify a signicant moment/event in your life.! Your memoir should meet the following requirements:! ! -A detailed description of the event. 2. Create a comic representation illustrating important events during the Depression.! You will create a detailed picture/comic that represents at least THREE! signicant events during the Great Depression (ex: Black Tuesday, Banks! closing, etc). Your comic should meet the following requirements: ! ! -Your comic should represent 3 important events/experiences of the Great Depression.! ! -Your comic should include dialogue.! ! -It must be in color. ! ! -It must be neat, organized and clear. !

3. Reection Letter to one of the individuals in the broadcast.! Using the information from class on the Great Depression and the! experiences of the individuals mentioned in the broadcast you will! write them a letter that compares and contrasts the struggles and! challenges they faced during the Great Depression and the challenges/! struggles you face today. Your letter should meet the following ! requirements: ! ! - Addressed to one of the individuals from the broadcast.! ! -Letter format! ! -1-2 pages! ! - Identies 2 similarities and 2 differences between life then and life today. !
