- &or one st!dent s e also s!ggested giving im only a co!ple .!estions on a page and aving lines so t ey st!dent co!ld gage ow m!c t ey are s!pposed to write$ - ) e idea of !sing comic strips to elp one st!dent e0press is ideas - giving st!dents different types of reinforcements based on t eir needs - aving a st!dent lead a lesson for t e class ) ese are (!st some of t e many ama/ing ideas for differentiation t at were s!ggested to me and % !sed s!ccessf!lly$ 1ne problem % enco!ntered w ile doing t is was t e way t at some st!dents wo!ld get mad w en ot er st!dents received assignments t at t ey perceived as easier assignments$ %t was ard to motivate t em to do somet ing t at t ey believed was more diffic!lt$ ) ey t o!g t it was very !nfair$ % tried e0plaining t e concept to t em t at fair doesn2t mean e.!al and instead it means everyone is given w at t ey need in order to be s!ccessf!l$ ) is did not wor# very well$ %n t e f!t!re" % will set !p t is classroom environment and mentality from t e beginning of t e year$ Maybe" w en it is created as part of t e c!lt!re of t e classroom it will be better received by st!dents$ ) is is one way % will try to improve on t is goal$ %n t e f!t!re" % wo!ld li#e to cond!ct some action researc on different forms of differentiation in t e classroom and t eir s!ccess levels so t at % can find t e best way to differentiate my classroom to meet my st!dents2 needs$
