Amigos Por Vida Music Program

Amigos Music program proposal is based on the School Boards

interest in giving the students the chance of being exposed to music and to
learn an instrument. The schools vision is to provide students with rigorous,
ensemble driven music training in order to foster in them the skills
necessary for successful futures. By holding children to high expectations and
affording them joyful, musical experiences, the Amigos Music Program
inspires them to develop the character and personal voice needed to become
the leaders of tomorrow.
Goals of the program:
1. Build community: the program will further build community amongst
students and heighten what's already being done at Amigos. By performing
together, children follow a model society, building character and teamwork
between students and giving them a place to learn to work together and
build on their school pride.

2. Foster self-esteem and responsibility; music engages students in a joyful
way, giving them a new, creative outlet and way to express
themselves. Music is also a non-competitive endeavor in which each child is
an equal asset.

3. Widen the horizon of at-risk children: Through music, students are
exposed to other career possibilities. It also helps build self-discipline and
structure, essential to keeping at-risk youth off the streets thus positively
impacting academic performance.

first option holds the original quoted price and is for all 60 violins at once.

Total Proposed Purchase: $17,700

All instruments are setup locally in one of our three workshops and include a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Price includes inside delivery to your school.

The second option is to deliver the violins in batches of 20 violins. This would separate the invoice out for each batch.
With this option we must charge the new school outfit price of $319. The idea for this is that we do one batch a month for

The third option is to provide used violins. Due to the nature of used instruments condition and availability, we cannot
give a firm quote as to the pricing of these violins. If the school can provide details on the exact quantity of each size
needed. We can provide a quote.

Instrument rental for the school is not available, nor advised. The total cost of the instruments, insurance, and taxes make
this option very expensive and would incur significant added cost to the school. Students of the program are of course
welcome to rent directly with our company.
