Day 2 Rough Draft (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING!!!)
Email me your sentences at the end of the period on Day 2. If you want
me to check them, ask me with plenty of time left in the period.
Label each of your sentences by the page number on which that sentence
will appear.
Day 3 Storyboard (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING!!!)
Today you need to create a series of hand draw sketches in order of how
your story will progress.
It does need to be colored as well so you can have an idea of how you
want the nished story to look.
You do not need to write the sentences on the storyboard, but using
bullet points may help you stay organized.
Day 4 Final draft of story/Peer Review (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
STARTING!!!)
Make sure all your sentences are in the preterit or imperfect tense.
Find other groups to read your story. Since it is written for young
children, it should make sense to them. If they can tell you what the
story is about (without your help) then you have done well. Have at least
three di!erent groups read your story.
Day 5 Putting it all together (READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
STARTING!!!)
This is the last day so make any nal adjustments to sentences and
images that you feel are needed.
