Teaching Experience
Tutoring: Alliance Parkway Elementary School; Grades 2-3
Tutored two 1st and 2nd grade students in reading, using paper and electric textbooks to
achieve enlarging their English vocabularies and reading levels.
Having 3rd grade student to express characters feeling and to make proper pauses when
he read textbooks.
Facilitated 2nd and 3rd grades students learning using student-centered reading and fun
vocabulary games.
Student Teacher; Alliance Parkway Elementary School; Grades 3-5
Created the lesson that taught 3-5 grade students how to calculate averages with hands-on
activity using soccer balls, and conducted the effective lesson.
Improving their calculating levels and helped them mature to calculate averages with
guided and independent practices.

Interactive Field Experience
Designing and conducting Family Night Activity: Alliance Early Leaning School
Planning and conducting the fun activity for preschool and kindergarten students that
could improve their calculation abilities of addition with their hands which were motor
skills.
Working as a part-timer at Day-care Center in public elementary school in Japan: Samukazedai
Elementary School, Japan: Grade 1-5
Helping students comprehend some questions in Japanese class they could not understand
by giving them hint.
Getting students to have fun with playing ball games, card and any other kind games.
Supporting students mental when they got depressed, doing man-to-man counseling with
each person who had problems to get them to enjoy in his or her daily life.
Handling troubles students had between them, asking what happened and every kid who
involved in troubles and leading to reconcile.
Managing the note that showed students daily behaviors observing what each student was
doing in a day.

Proficient with Microsoft Word Office (Word, PowerPoint), Prezi.
Fluent in Japanese.

Interested in volunteering in other countries to contribute solving local problems such as
poverty issue.

Activities
Making the survey about gender discrimination and spread it out through campus to get
students and faculty to have deep awareness of it as serving learning project.
A member of Association of International Student and play a role of Program Director in
2014-2015.
On Mont Union mens soccer team in 2013-2014 season.
