Revisit last lesson what did we learn about in science last week (exploration of dark/light)
Smartboard sort

B. Development
Peek-box activity
o Students sit in a circle choose 2 helpers
o Take boxes around with lid closed look through peep hole
o What can you see? Why cant you see anything?
o Take boxes around with lid open look through peep hole
o What can you see? Why can we see it now?
o What if we look inside the box with a torch?
o Take boxes around with the torch what can you see now? Why did the torch make a
difference?

C. Consolidation and Practice
Students complete the reflection template
o When the lid was closed I saw....because... (draw picture)
o When the lid was open I saw....because... (draw picture)
