This study was aimed at identifying the influence of investments and total
number of labor forces the economic growth of the Industrial Sector in South
Sumatera in the period 1995 to 2008
The secondary data analy!ed in this study included ban" credits# total number of
the labor forces# and the economic growth $ multiple linear regression techni%ue
was applied
The research results show that investments and total number of the labor forces
play a significant in the economic growth
