My name is Emma Lange, and I am writing in regards to the open position for an internship
opportunity at Head Start. Based on my credentials and experience in work and volunteer
experience, I believe you will find that I am most qualified for the job. As seen in my resume, I
have much experience of being accountable, personable, and a hard- worker. All of which, I can
promise, I will bring to this internship position. At Head Start, feeding and educating
underprivileged children will help deepen the understanding I have for people and broaden my
experience with them, which is crucial to be successful in my ideal career as a psychologist.
As noted in my resume, I have a lot of overall experience working and dealing with people,
especially in stressful situations. Working as a babysitter, in a dog salon, and as a student council
member, I was constantly dealing with peoples needs, which were unpredictable, and I had to
accommodate to them, to make sure the customer was satisfied. As an actress/ model and
singing I had to be accountable to show up to shoot/ rehearsal dates and remember my lines. I
also had to have a lot of emotional connection with the piece of music I was singing or project I
was working on, a learned skill I could bring to this internship that will help me relate to the
children I am helping.
As a hardworking, dependable, friendly person, I am the perfect fit for this internship at Head
