Employment history
2011 (February) 2013 (September) NEXT Leatherhead, STOCKROOM MANAGER I worked at NEXT Leatherhead on weekends throughout my time at college as a part time sales assistant, a role that hugely developed my customer relation skills. During this time, I rapidly progressed though the companys hierarchy, gaining more responsibility and authority. Soon after finishing College I was promoted the position of stockroom manager. This role left me in charge of a stock team of 10 people. Through great leadership and team work me and my team broke company records in productivity and standards. During my time at NEXT I maintained 0% sickness absence and 0% lateness, I believe this demonstrates my reliability and attitude towards my work.
For just over two years, my job was a newspaper delivery boy for the local newsagent. I had to be self-motivated to wake up at 5:30am six days a week, 52 weeks a year. Also during this time I never missed a day despite many obstacles, including the weeks that most of the southeast was immobilized by deep snow.
2009 (April) CITI BANK WORK EXPERIENCE
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work for a week in the city for CITI Bank. I relished and greatly enjoyed the challenge of observing the inner workings of the FX trading floor and assisted in the administrative duties of this busy organization.
For ten months I worked, part time, as an assistant swimming teacher. This was a fulfilling role as I had the opportunity to teach youngsters to swim, it was very satisfying to watch them progress and I gained useful skills in management and leadership, from the age of 13.
Interests & Hobbies:
I love to keep fit and go to the gym five days a week; this combined with the multiple sports I undertake, gives me great satisfaction and a sense accomplishment. I also socialize regularly, as I believe I am a People Person. This is very useful when it comes to meeting new people and being introduced into new environments. From playing and Captaining sports teams, I have developed many life skills such as leadership, also learning the value of teamwork and its benefits in reaching a common goal, whether that is in the work place or on a sports field.
