TEACHING PLAN
Everyoneshould be seated in selfspace.
Teach the Song
Play the recording of"Biddy, Biddy"so that the stu-
dents becomefamiliarwith the song.Then, teach the
song using the Rote SongTeachingProcedure found
in the Reference Manual. Demonstrate and have the
students perform macrobeats with alternating move-
ment. Emphasize the resting tone using DO.
Teach the Chord Roots
Play the two chords notated below on the guitar,
autoharp, or piano. Tell the students that the first
chord is a tonic chordand that the second chord is a
dominant chord. Playthefirst chord again and have
the students sing DO as you play, because it is the
