Reflection 1:
Today is my first day teaching internship. After I signed up to trainee teachers
paper I went to the English department. I saw the head of the department who told
me to take which class to observe and to evaluate the teacher who is instructing.
Also, I attended the queue morning. When it was done, they gave me three classes,
but one as a precaution and supervising. Finally, I attended the family meeting for
an hour.
Evaluation 1:
The staff of the department was really nice and friendly. They answered all my
questions and they tried to encourage me to not being scared or worried about
anything. Some of the students were misbehaving but I stopped it to not make it
spread in all over the class.

Reflection 2:
After observing the first period at the head of the department class and with
supervisor I entered 11
th
grade queue. Then after that I took some lessons about
what to do in my first year teaching and how to control my classroom. Later on I
took my preparation book because I am going to start on next Sunday as they told
me.
Evaluation 2:
The class I entered of literature lesson was great of performances, well managing
and no misbehaving. The teaching aids she used were in smooth of consequence to
deliver the content. The treatment of whole department was helpful and supportive.
They had time to answer my questions and to give little tips.

Reflection 3:
Today was my first teaching lesson. I went to my class with a bit confident. I did
not complete it because there were some signing sheet to sign and questions to be
written in the board so, it took much time as I wasnt expected.
Evaluation 3:
I was really mean to them at first I set the rules with confident. The most important
thing which was really a problem was my low voice of instructing. There were
participating and active which I really liked. I wrote down something I absolutely
wouldnt do next class hopefully.

Reflection 4:
Today I scanned the unit with lesson 1+2, not wasting my time to write something
else in the board. I was totally prepared and confident. The voice was much higher
and strict this time better than yesterdays first class.
Evaluation 4:
I really liked my performance and my students activation. Mentally and physically
I was prepared with no scaring moments. The students were telling me how they
loved my presenting and there were motivated although I did not use new tools for
teaching. I hopefully make variation while presenting next time.

Reflection 5:
As for today, I didnt have class only a quiz. It took whole hour. Many questions
and ambiguity were covering my students. After finishing the short exam I started
to correct their papers. Although I didnt finish them yet, I intended to complete
them tomorrow. I sat down with one of the teachers called Ms. Rehab to teach me
how to do well lesson plan structure.
Evaluation 5:
Lots of questions for the quiz which were pretty easy and they did not know. I
kind of felt sad for their low-performances. Few of them took full mark. And a lot
of complaints from some students were not in the right position because they did
not study enough.

Reflection 6:
Today which supposed to be off with class because it is on the 7
th
period and I had
class with dr. iqbal. The supervisor came in to observe us so, they have given me
the fourth period to manage a new lesson plan. So, I started to prepare very quickly
with new vocabulary slides. Then I got back to GUST.
Evaluation 6:
Although I was so stressed I did manage my time well and I was confident. An
unforgettable experience I had. The evaluation was fairly acceptable and dr. iqbal
said well done! you deserve it which made me proud of myself. I hope that this
situation wont happen to me later, Id rather to prepare first before I do anything.

Reflection 7:
Today I have started with grammar lesson. I used PowerPoint for nearly whole
class period. The lesson did not complete as if they need more practice in
language. In the next class I planned to give them more practice and examples.
Evaluation 7:
They were not very active and responsive to the lesson subject. In order to make
them understand I will assign them in the next class to give homework and
exercises. New techniques are in my head to the next step.

Reflection 8:
Today I was taking in 6
th
period but I had to take one extra to give my students
more examples and practices through generating the new grammar lesson and
check their weaknesses. The head of English department decided to come for
whole week classes till last day of training teacher internship.
Evaluation 8:
I was kind of relief this day. Although I had this feeling of uncomfortable because
there were something inside me says that I am doing something wrong but I dont
know what yet. I think maybe because I struggle with finding new techniques or
activities while teaching. I hope that I find the missing part soon.

Reflection 9:
Today the English department has a seminar of social media best way to use. I had
to prepare for my next 6
th
period class. I finished earlier than I expected. The
students were really excited about lesson 5 and 6.
Evaluation 9:
I established the technique of talking to students and have backgrounds
information related to the lesson. There were interested with syllables exercises
and I had the enthusiasm to lecture about it.
