o Role: adapted the games/activities to meet his needs, developed, monitored, and revised a
behavior intervention plan, applied problem-solving strategies to reconcile issues that occurred,
socialized with all campers and staff, communicated with and kept other camp leaders/staff
updated about the students emotional well-being, advocated for the assigned camper during
reoccurring instances where he was a victim of bullying and collaborated with other staff to
determine a solution, and communicated with and kept childs parents updated about the boys
day (Summer 2013).
Part-time childcare provider for two boys, ages 4 and 5, during the summer.
o Role: prepared lunch and/or snacks daily, supervised and participated in childs activities,
transported children, managed problem behaviors and mediated confrontations that occurred
between the siblings, and communicated with the parents daily (Summer 2012).
Volunteered at the Swann Center.
o Role: interacted with the residents, read stories and pushed the residents on walks in their
wheelchairs, participated in many activities (i.e. arts and crafts, church, movie night) with the
residents, and worked at the Swann Center Special School with the residents (Summer 2011).

o Role: graded papers, provided mentoring to students, participated in lectures and answered
student questions, presented alternate problem-solving approaches, and encouraged student
participation (Spring 2010).
