will be piesent foi the class as well. In science the stuuents weie intiouuceu
to the concept of sounu waves, how sounu tiavels, anu what mateiials make

It is my belief that this lesson tiuly puts the aitist anu makei at the centei of the
STEAN mouel. It is my belief that this lesson plan cleaily exhibits how aitists neeu
to use othei uisciplines to cieate woik. I also believe that this lesson plan helps
auvocate foi the ait's necessity anu value in schools. Aitists touay aie tiuly using
eveiy pait of theii biain, hanus, anu the iecouises aiounu them to cieate. Aitists
that woik with sounu neeu to know how to manipulate that sounu anu how to
employ the use of uiffeient types of mateiials to achieve this goal. Aitists that woik
with constiucting instiuments in space neeu to know, not only how to engineei
those instiuments to peifoim theii intenueu function, but also how to constiuct a
stiuctuie that can stanu on its own. Lastly, aitists neeu to become moie awaie of
the auuitoiy woilu that suiiounus them as well as the visual. As aitist anu
