To whom it may concern:
I am interested in applying for the Summer Job Program to gain experience
in the working world and I feel the recreational center will help me to build
the skills I need to work with children in order to be a Pediatric Nurse. I got
word of the program from former students at my school that worked and are
working. I am 17 years old and I am a senior currently attending USC
Magnet High School.
I have gained experience through volunteer work at the EXPO Centers Teen
Camp program helping Jessica Grande and school with various teachers. The
services I perform(ed) varies from working with first grade students to
complete unfinished work, helping them with arts and crafts, and just
keeping them on task. Another example would be doing service work for the
office and for any teacher that need assistance with filing papers, helping
with computer software and anything they need an extra hand with. I have
been able to build up my leadership skills by being an active member in our
leadership class and being a part of my school activities.
I look forward to meeting with you and learning more about the position,
your objectives, and how I can contribute to the success of your department.
In addition, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Teonne Young
