INTRUDECTION:
The main goal of the weightlifting game is to lift heaviest weight include the rules of the
game. Beforehand many of researches and studies are compile in deferent scientific
domain to serve the level of the W.L. sport. While the Electromyography of the skeletal
muscles during the performance of the Olympic lift we have not get any database in that
field , and for that reason we put this study .Many of local researchers go into summarized
side of the skeletal muscle Electromyography (EMG) and it considered as an assistance
indicator with many other physiologic indicators to reach the results . All of these studies
depend on the electrical cable connecting (direct connection), Therefore of them depend on
the isometric contraction and limited movement with out doing the lift.

METHODS:
Four weightlifter of the national team for senior (Two categories -56,105kg.- include two
lifters in each one).Depended the first and the second class in each category therefore
casting higher level of the performance . The study was restricted on the Snatch pull only.
The best doing of three attempted it will adipoted for measurement. The instrument that
depending to measure the (EMG) signal by the skin (sEMG) (myoprate 400 from noraxon
company) ACS (American collage sportmedicine), It work by record the (EMG) signal by
Bluetooth technology (sending part-receiving part) connect to the laptop. Surface
electrodes that sticking on the middle-center of the muscle. Five group muscles are
chosen ;Gastrogenimus,Rectus femorsi, lumbar dosal,Trapezus and Deltoid. The pull (lift)
divided to seven phases ; start position (SP),first pull(FP),knee movement(KM),second
pull(SP),fall with out lean(FWL),fall with lean(FL) and hold and stability(HS).After
recording the results it treating with suitable statistical ways ;Parametric (mean, standered
division and mode) , Nonparametric (Man witny steps for mini samples) at (p=0.05).
(EMG) signal recorded from release the bar from the ground till hold it above of head by
both hands.
RESULTS:
There is clear differences in the activity of (EMG) signal level during the stages of the
lift. Gast.m. activate in primary stages (SP,FP), Rectus femorsi for the heavy weight (HW)
it activate in (SP) and for the light weight (LW) in the finale stage (HS) . Lumbardosal
whole activation was in the middle stages. Trapezius maximum activity in the final stage
because of the nature of its work. Deltoid total activate in the (FWL),(FL) stage of the lift.
The second axon of the study was compared between (HW) and (LW) in (EMG) signal
activity level, in (SP) is to (HW) , in (FP) is to (LW) , Rectus femorsi in all stages for
(LW) unless in (SP) , Trapezius for (LW) , in (KM) and (SP)stage , Deltoid its significant
for (HW) in (SP).

Rectus femorsi M. during stages Gastrgenemus M. during stages

Trapezus m. during stages Lumbardosal m. during stages

Deltoid m. during the stages

CONCLUSION :

1. EMG reading does necessarily represent muscular strength instead it is the

result of this strength.
2. EMG singles differs from one muscle to the other during the stages of
performance according to the requirements and the nature of that stage.
3. The increase in muscle mass leads to an increase in the muscle's strength yet
in all cases no increase was found in the level of EMG.
Studying EMG expresses the level of muscular activity and its response during contraction

:Recommendations

1. Using EMG recordings for muscles is one of the most important means for
specifying strength and weakness in weightlifters.
The necessity of adjusting multi training programs for training international league
weightlifters
