Rocket launces (Possible
questions)
What happens inside the rocket when its about to launch?
How is it moving in straight direction?
What forces most affect launching rocket?*
Is theres a moment when the rocket is balanced?
What can make rocket unbalanced in the space?
How long people researched how to make a perfect rocket with the perfect proportions ?*
What rockets are made out of?*

*-questions I will be most focused on

What rockets are made out
of?
Rockets are basically made out of two different parts. One
is structure system and second one is the propulsion
system. Structure system contains-: Nose cone, Frame
and fin. Propulsion system contains fuel , oxidizer, pumps
and nozzle. The other two also very important parts are
payload system and guidance system.

History of rockets
The Study of rockets it was described 300 years ago by
Isaac Newton.
About 300 years after the pigeon, another Greek hero of
Alexandria ,invented a similar rocket-like devices called an
Aeolipile. It used steam gas as a propulsive gas.
16
th
century- rockets fell into a time of the category of
weapons for the war.
In Russia and Germany for experiments with rockets used
more then 45 kg.
In 1998 Russian school teacher suggested to use of liquid
propelants for rockets to achieve greater range.
What forces mostly affect
launching rocket.
There are thrust of rocket motor, the force of
gravity , which pulls the rocket down, and the air
resistance which is called drag.
There is also one thing that affect launching
rocket, it is called Escape Velocity.
Escape Velocity
Escape Velocity is a
speed that an object
must have to escape
earths gravity.
Escape velocity
depends on the mass of
the planet or moons
that a spacecraft is
blasting off.
Since the gravity of
the moon is lower then
the gravity of the earth,
spacecraft which leaves
moon can be slower.
High
velocity
This Rocket
has a high
velocity
which helps
it to escape
earths
gravity and
not to fall
back.
gravity
thrust
Low velocity
Since rocket dont have a high
velocity, gravity will bring it down
as it shown on this picture.

Newton's Laws of Motion
Newton's 1st law of motion says that an object at rest will stay
at rest unless acted by an unbalanced force . An object in motion
continues in motion with the same speed and in the same
direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force . This law is
also called " The law of inertia"
Newton's 2nd law of motion : Acceleration is produced when a
force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object that
being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed(to
accelerate the object)
Newton's 3rd law of motion says that for every action there is an
opposite but equal reaction.
( In my presentation i will mostly use 3rd law of motion)

Vocabulary
Velocity-the speed of something in a given direction. Formula-
Average speed =distance/traveled; average velocity position/time
displacement/time
Acceleration-increase in the rate or speed of something A=vf-vi/t
Force- a strength or energy as an attribute of physical or movement.
Newton's 3rd law of motion- fro every action there an opposite but
equal reaction.
Gravity- The force that attracts a body toward the center of the
Earth or toward any other physical body having a mass.

Vocabulary
Thrust- push(something or someone) suddenly
or violently in the specified direction. A sudden or
violent lunge with a pointed weapon.
Air resistance-also called a drag , the forces that
an opposition to the relative motion of an object
through the air. Drag unlike other resistive forces
, depends directly on velocity.
Escape velocity-the lowest velocity that a body
must have in order to escape the gravitational
attraction of a particular planet or other object.
