3. Use delivery techniques and visual displays appropriate to speakers purpose (how to speech).

Writing
1. Write for a variety of purposes (narrative poetry, interviews).
2. Produce coherent writing through development, organization, and style appropriate to the task.
3. Use the writing process to strengthen my writing.
4. Evaluate information from multiple sources and incorporate information into my writing.

Language
1. Understand and use grade appropriate vocabulary.
2. Write in complete, meaningful sentences and paragraphs (use compound sentences with no
fragments or run-ons).
3. Use consistent point of view and verb tense.
4. Apply correct usage of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
