Research Aim
The Goal for this survey was to gather the actual per-
ception of Talley Student Center, from the students
perspective.
Students were asked the frequency of their visits to
the site and their activites while there. In addition,
they were asked to give responses to open ended
questions providing unbiased answers. The goal was
to gather subjective
responses and perspectives.

friends and classmates. After two days of gathering

Students were also asked their favortie spots in Talley.
Wolves Den, Wolfpack Subs, and the 1st & 2nd Floor lobbys
were the favorites. Surprisingly, the rocking chairs on the
old balcony and the fourth foor lobby were also on the list.
The percentage of those who were exicted about the new
student center were 87%. They were looking forward to the
new eating option and study space that is to be provided.
Conclusion
Most students use the Student Center for food instead
of activites and meeting. After seeing the results, NCSU
should provide activites that engage students. Based on
these results, students have made the site into a food court
based on its
afordances.
