IDENTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL FOR TOURISM DISTRICT MUNA


(CASE STUDY TOUR BEACH NAPABALE)

ABSTRACT
Muna is one district in Southeast Sulawesi Province and includes
eastern Indonesia that has the potential of natural resources especially the
tourism sector with the potential to be developed as one sector that could
increase the local revenue district Muna .
The aim of this study is to explain the potential for coastal tourism in the
District contained Napabale Lohiya, Muna. Determining the direction and
concept development of coastal tourism potential Napabale Muna. This
study used descriptive research is to give a clearer picture about a
symptom or phenomenon through tabulatif calculations and statistical
analysis by emphasizing the analysis of data using scientific logic based
on the facts found in the field .
Based on this research, Napabale coastal attractions have the potential
to be developed because it has the physical potential to attract tourists
such as topography, Panorama / unique natural beauty like the hills that
surround the beach, the tunnel that connects the beach with strait Botun
Napabale, calm sea waves , Marine Life, as well as social and cultural
potential of the local community. The concept of development in this study
is divided into two, namely the concept of physical development and the
concept of non-physical development.
