Photo Analysis Essay

Photography has the power to express, analyze, show or unhide the persons feelings and
show the meaning of the life. Photography has the power to save someones life or connect you
to another part of the world. To emphasize these works like these, then you have to use the 5
Ws. They are, Who, What, When, Why, and Where. This will makes your viewers to
understand your photo accurately or precisely. There are 7 more tips that will make your photo
look professional and make it understandable to the viewer. They are, using a prop,
experimenting with lights, alter your perspective, obscure part of your subject, the rule of thirds,
experiment with backgrounds, playing with eye contact.
This image of myself (Akmal Madmarov). I picked this photo because the photograph
(me) uses almost all of the photography tips. Weve learned a lot of tips in the Art class and they
are: using a prop, obscuring part of your subject, experimenting with lighting, alter your
perspective, rule of third, experimenting with backgrounds and playing with the eye contact. In
this picture, the photographer uses tips: obscuring part of your subject, altering your perspective,
rule of third, using a prop, and experimenting with the backgrounds. Obscuring part of your
subject means to hide or conceal a part of your subjects face in order to emphasize another part.
The photographer uses tips obscuring part of your subject by hiding his nose and his mouth
with his hand, by emphasizing his eyes and etc. The second tip that image has is rule of third,
and by definition it means important objects are placed on or near the imaginary lines and where
the line portrait. So, the photography has rule of third in his image because there is an imaginary
line was placed on the subjects face. The third tip that photographer uses is alter your
perspective which means to change the angle that you take the picture from. The photographer
uses the tip alter your perspective, by putting the camera lower than the subject. The fourth tip
that the image has is experimenting with the backgrounds and it means the person in your
portrait is the main point of interest - however sometimes when you place them into different
contexts with different backgrounds you can dramatically alter the mood in a shot. The image
has experimenting with backgrounds because the subject is the main point of interest and the
mood is very serious. The fifth tip that photographer uses in his image is the using a prop by
definition an object that the subject holds or uses to make the photo more interesting. The tip
works because the subject has hat and his headphones, and theyre considered the tip using a
prop by the look of the image. The image was taken in afternoon, in the art class, in school and
the time was season was spring. Theses tips will make the images look very well or beautiful
because it will look professionally, and mastery.
I chose the image of HASHEM, because the photographer used many photography tips.
In this class we learned photo tips such as; Alter your perspective, using a prop, playing with eye
contact, obscure part of your subject, the rule of thirds, experiment with lighting and
experimenting with background. In this image the photographer uses tips; alter your perspective,
rule of third, use a prop, experimenting with lighting, experimenting with backgrounds, obscure
part of your subject. The photographer uses tip alter your perspective, by putting the camera
higher than the subject and changing the perspective. Altering perspective means to change the
angle that you take the picture from. The photographer uses the tip using a prop which means
an object that the subject holds or uses to make the photo more interesting. He uses prop by
putting the glasses, and the hat on the subject. The third tip that he uses is obscure part of your
subject, and by definition it means to hide or conceal a part of your subjects face in order to
emphasize another part. So, photographer told his subject(Hashim) to hide his face with
glasses or obscure his face with the glasses. Next tip he uses is The Rule of Thirds, which
means important objects are placed on or near the imaginary lines and where the line portrait.
The photographer uses the rule of third by putting the imaginary line into his right eye. Then, he
uses tip Experimenting with Lighting, the definition of the word is that different lighting
situations will impact the mood or feeling of the portrait. The photographer used experimenting
with lighting, by getting reflector and reflect the sun in the subjects face, after that there was
better lighting in the subjects face. The last tip that the photography has is Experiment with
Backgrounds, and it means the person in your portrait is the main point of interest - however
sometimes when you place them into different contexts with different backgrounds you can
dramatically alter the mood in a shot. The tip works because there is only one subject that is the
main point of interest. The image was taken afternoon, in the school backyard or the playground,
and was taken in the spring. These tips will make the images or the pictures look very well
because it will look professional and very beautiful.
At Conclusion, the image is the best influential, important, helper, and etc. Also, I learned
a lot from taking a pictures, and I learned how to take an image professionally. So, to take the
professional image, you have to use 5 Ws, and the 7 tips. You dont have to use all of the 7 tip,
you can use 5 or the image have to have more than 4 tips. I really love taking a pictures and I
enjoyed this project.
