Please comment on areas of particular strength, and on areas which should be targeted for future
development:

Paul is an extremely confident, highly organised, and knowledgeable student teacher.

He initiated and was comfortable managing sole charge of all of the senior classes,
which included lesson planning, demonstrating Darkroom processes, Formatting research
resources, previewing and leading EOTC and setting the senior Art History examination.
His professional presence within the department was collegial and considerate without
being overbearing and he was able to adjust and revision his plans and ideas in response
to logistical and technical critique.
As an expert communicator, Paul was able to converse and work alongside a range of
abilities and age groups. He was consistent, fair and respectful of the students strengths
and always gave positive and insightful feedback to student work.
In regards to developing his teaching practiceI think that the more range of practical
classes Paul can work with, the more breadth and dimension his range will be.
Paul has the specialised skills, commitment and suitability to excel in this profession
and I wish him every success in his teaching career.
