Dr. Annabelle Gordonas

School Principal
Taguig City
Dear Dr. Gordonas,
I am writing to express my interest in an opportunity to be a teacher in your school, in the
secondary level. Having been a Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English student since
the year 2011, I have attended multiple seminars and conferences and undergone various
activities under our field study program that trained me to become an efficient and effective
teacher.
I am currently in my third year of study at Polytechnic University of the Philippines,
taking up the aforementioned course. I hope to pursue a masters degree in writing and/or
literature some time after I graduate from college. My passion for teaching stems from the
teachers who have molded me and carried me to this point in my life, and I have been an active
participant in education-related activities to broaden my experiences outside the classroom, such
as actively taking part in various symposiums, conferences, and seminars, and joining contests
and competitions both inside and outside the institution. In addition, I am very delighted to
educate and inspire the younger generation, as can be seen from my extensive assemblage of
activities.
I am confident that my skills in planning, presentation, and time-management I have
developed over my years of being a dynamic student, as well as my genuine curiosity to find
more ways of livening up the whole teaching-learning process, would put me in a good position
to be a teacher in your school. Conversely, the educational and historical background of your
school, together with its welcoming faculty members and a nurturing environment, would
provide me with invaluable learning opportunities. I believe that I have what it takes to be a
teacher in your school, and that I can be a valuable asset to your institution, equipped with strong
work ethics, passion for my work and eagerness to learn as I go on.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon at your
earliest convenience.

Yours Sincerely,

Jonathan V. Villabroza
