Total time for presentation per team= 25 minutes
Presentation by team : 15 minutes
Queries by Judging Panel : 10 minutes
Use of videos, photos, animation, graphics, charts and prototype etc is
allowed during presentation.
100% work towards designing, CAD models, designs of subsystems,
calculation, market survey, fabrication plans must be completed. Judges
may ask such questions to check the readiness for vehicle fabrication.
Include photographs wherever required in slides.
Presentations must be prepared in MS PowerPoint format and maximum
file size should not exceed 10 MB.
Every slide must have SAE NIS logo on the top right corner as shown.
Carry the presentation in a formatted pen drive at your venue with file
name <Team ID_Team Name_Zone>

Presentations must not be mailed to any ID until and unless specified by
Efficycle Technical Committee through email or web notification.

Presentation Requirements
Title page: Same as the title page of the format.
Team Structure: Name, branch, year of degree, role in project.
Introduction: Brief description about the background analysis, approaches
adopted, design methodology etc.
Project Plan: A Gantt chart showing the detailed (week wise) breakup of the
whole project activities.
Technical Specifications & Targets: Complete view of vehicle model,
technical specifications and projected performance of vehicle
Frame:
Design, Analysis, FEA/Simulations of frames and its selection
Material selection
Power Train:
Arrangement of Human and Electric Drive, Methods of power
accumulation from individual human drives, Calculations
Motors & battery specification, transmission system, Battery runtime if
vehicle run on electric drive only, calculate for different terrains.

Seats: Type of seats used, design, specification of seating arrangement etc.
Steering: Steering arrangement, geometry, calculations, turning radius,
critical speed etc.
Brakes: Brake system arrangement, calculations, braking distance etc.
Suspension, Wheels & Tyre: Suspension arrangement, calculations, Size of
wheels, criteria for selection etc.
Safety Features: Protection measures in case of collisions,
Analysis/Simulations for front/side/rollover protections, safety of drivers,
safety of bystanders and electrical safety etc.
Ergonomic Features, Ease of operation:
User friendly features of the vehicle, riders comfort
Vehicle utility for different purposes
Innovations: Concept of innovation, technology, feasibility, scope in
automotive industry
