Q.3 Read the small story of Mahabharata and answer the following questions:
War of Mahabharata was about to begin. Kauravas and Pandavas had to choose between Lord
Krishna and his army. Arjuna and Duryodhana approached Krishna at the same time, to solicit their
support either in favor of Krishna or his army. Krishna was asleep and they had to wait. Arjuna was
humble about Lords prominence and sat near his feet, whereas Duryodhana chose to sit near
Krishnas head. He considered himself to be of same stature if not superior. As Krishna woke up, he
saw Arjuna first and asked him to express his choice, between the Lord and his army. Kauravas not
only selected Krishnas army, also took commitment from Krishna to surrender all his weapons and
not use them in the battlefield. On contrary, Arjun was happy to select Lord Krishna. He even
requested him to lead his chariot as a charioteer to which Lord Krishna readily agreed .
