Mobile Learning Technology Integration Mobile Apps
The three apps I chose to incorporate into this lesson plan are all free. I will give students the name of the apps and require
them to be downloaded before class. If students do not have any mobile devices or are unable to download the apps for any
reason, they will be given a partner. Monday is the start of a new unit, after reviewing the tests I will have students open the
iTooch 8
th
Grade Math App, I will use this app to introduce students to one of the new concepts in unit two, which is
eponents. !n Tuesday, students will use the Rules of Exponents App for review and to help them where needed. After the
notes have been ta"en, students will use the iTooch app scientific notation section to help them with the practice sheet.
#ednesday, students will be introduced to square and cube roots through the cube root calculator. They will also use this app
while completing the wor" session. This calculator will help familiari$e students with perfect squares and cubes. I loo"
forward to implementing this lesson plan with my students because they love using their phones. I "now they will appreciate
not having to snea" and use their technology, but will en%oy learning by using their mobile devices.
