Title 1 Teacher- Technology/ESOL Instructor at Center Elementary
August 2008-Present

Teach students technology skills and programs such as Keyboarding,
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Technology Mentor to all the teachers at Center. I troubleshoot computer
problems. I also work with teachers on how to utilize technology in their
classrooms with the technology we have available such as SmartBoard
Technologies. I use instructional coaching strategies to support their
technology integration.
Centers Project Based Learning (PBL) in grades 3-5 has received
numerous ISTE awards by developing websites and videos based on
Georgia Performance Standards in Social Studies and Science. Each
groups has been advised by me.
I developed a Newspaper Club at Center Elementary called Tiger Tales.
The newspaper is created by students and sold each moth to the students
at Center Elementary. The money collected is placed into the technology
fund that is used to purchase different software and technologies needed
by the school.

Other Experiences
I completed my ESOL endorsement in June 2013. I am heavily involved in the
Waycross community. I am a member of the Waycross Service League and
have been given many leadership roles in this league. WSL is a non-profit
organization of women dedicated to raising funds for a variety of local charitable
organizations and programs that provide services to meet the needs of
Waycross and surrounding counties along with providing volunteer support for
events throughout the year. I have many leadership roles at my church. I work
with the youth at Crossview Church in Waycross Georgia.
