Setting environment variable : path

Right click on my computer

select properties
select advanced
select environment variables
under system variables
select path : edit
under value : go to end
give a semicolon
and append C:\Program Files\Java\jdk\bin
OK OK OK
This allows DOS based compilation and
execution of java prgs from any working
directory
