Forward Channel Parameters

CCH Rate (CCHRATE)-specifies the rate of the control channel.

Value Range-
RATE76K8 (76.8 kbit/s) Default Value,
-Used 8 timeslots to send a data packet

RATE38K4 (38.4 kbit/s) is more reliable than 76.8 kbit/s control channel.
-Used 16 timeslots to send a data packet

The control channel preamble uses an MAC index
MACIndex = 71 are used for the sub-synchronization control channel.
CCH Capsule Offset (CAPSULEOFFSET)
Parameter specifies
Offset of the synchronous control channel cycle to the control channel cycle.
Offset start time of a control channel capsule of a sector can be different from the
start time of a control channel capsule of an adjacent sector.
Reduces interference generated when the AT demodulates the synchronization
control channels

Value Range
-0 to 3, measured in timeslots. 0 is default value.
-Different offsets should be configured for two adjacent sectors.
- Avoiding interference between capsules of the synchronization channels of the two
adjacent sectors.

DRC Lock Period
This parameter specifies the number of timeslots between two continuous DRCLock
bits that are transmitted on the forward MAC channel.
This parameter can be set to the following values.

Value Range- Slots8 (8 timeslots), or Slots16 (16 timeslots)(Default Value).
Parameter is set to 0
AN can quickly report the changes of the DRCLock Bit value and timely respond to the
changes, but the rate of the RPC channel decreases.
Parameter is set to 1
AT to correctly receive DRCLock information is improved.
DRCLock channel is used for the AN to send DRCLock information to the AT.
