Water scarcity is the lack of sufficient available
water resources to meet the demands of water
usage within a region. It already affects every
continent and around 2.8 billion people around
the world at least one month out of every year.
THE THREAT OF WATER
CRISES
When there is not enough POTABLE
WATER for a given population, the threat of
a water crisis is realized.
REASONS FOR FINISHING
There are several principal manifestations of the water crisis:
Inadequate access to safe drinking water for about 884 million
people
Inadequate access to water for sanitation and waste disposal
for 2.5 billion people
