Welcome to Ms. Rs classroom! I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know you this year, to work
hard, have fun, and learn a lot.
About the Teacher
I have been teaching for six years, but this is my first year at Opelika Middle School. My teaching
experience includes middle school, high school, and alternative school. I have a Bachelors of Science
from Auburn University and a Masters of Education from the University of Oregon. Outside of school, I
spend time with my two girls, run, bike, and swim.

Notebook: Composition notebooks are mandatory and will remain in the classroom, we will be creating
interactive notebooks that will go home at the end of the semester.
Make Up Work: Please make every effort to check the class website when you are absent to see what you
have missed. You may watch videos, go through prezi presentations, print out worksheets, etc
