I have been informed that Hazrat Shah Sufi Saleh Uddin Ahmed Chisty,
Religious and Spiritual Leader. Chief the Publication and Co-ordination
Centre of Islamic Ideology and Sufi-ism and Founder President Darbar-E-
Chishtia Complex, Consultative status with the Economic and social council
of the United Nations (ECOSOC) is soon going to publish the 1996 Edition
of their brochure on Human Rights, Islam and Sufi-ism.

Islam is a code of conduct for all aspects of life including those of Human
Rights and Religious among other religions specially faith and family. The
pamphlet issued on this occasion will help contain reactionary communalism
and blind fundamentalism and will inspire the Muslim of the world to be
imbued with the Universal peace and brotherhood ideals of Islam as also
peace and goodwill amongst all nations of the world.

I congratulate this Organization on their pioneering role in dedicating

themselves to the service of suffering humanity and the protection of human
rights all over the world.
