Will technology subdue traditional skills of people over the period of
time?
In the 21 st C, people are firmly convinced that technology is the main driving force behind productivity but at the same time some people consider technology is a hurdle in preservation of traditional techniques. In terms of time & space, technology is more effective. People possessing traditional skills should be engaged into the large scale industry where their skills can be employed with the modern techniques, providing them with livelihood simultaneously. However technology plays a key role in promoting traditional techniques. Therefore, I will conclude that technology if incorporated with traditional techniques it will support the preservation & promotion of traditional skills. Only when traditional culture is integrated with the modern technology can it be developed in the long run.
