Personal Profile

I would consider myself to be a self-motivated individual who can often demonstrate initiative as I have done
throughout my time during school. I work well as part of a team and have excellent spoken and written
communication skills. I have a flexible approach to work and Im willing to develop any new skills that may help
me grow within a role while also improving my overall knowledge and understanding. I would like to begin a career
within the IT sector as a Software Developer. This is an area of IT that I have a real passion for and I would like to
develop my skill set further in order to become successful in this position.

During my spare time I have resolved issues with both laptops and Desktops which range from software problems or hardware
problems, this has mainly been done for family and friends which has allowed me to gain a good understanding of how to
troubleshoot and computer maintenance. I believe that I have a good level of knowledge when it comes to Networking as Im
able to tune rooters to gain more speed from them as well as solving basic internet issues. During school I used a wide range
of software packages such as Photoshop to edit images as well as Flash and Fireworks, throughout music I was able to use
many different packages which I feel that I could transfer over to learning other computer systems. In my spare time I have
recently started teaching HTML using code academy in order to build my skills up, I have also created a website using Serif
Web plus/Draw plus as this allows me to express myself in a creative manner.
