Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire has exciting opportunities for Level 1 Scenes of Crime Officers.
There are current vacancies based at Greyfriars, Luton and Stevenage. We are also looking to recruit to any
future vacancies in all three counties across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
The successful candidates will join a team of Scenes of Crime Officers carrying out crime scene examinations
in relation to volume crime offences. Normally, crime scenes are examined by locally based officers but
occasionally there will be a need for a Scenes of Crime Officer to be deployed to anywhere in the three
counties.
Person requi rements
A qualification or experience in scenes of crime or other forensic discipline would be advantageous but not
essential as training will be provided to provide the accredited skills required.
The posts are full time and cover a shift pattern working between 08.00 hours to 22.00 hours seven days of the
week and attracts unsocial working allowance and weekend working allowance.
All applicants must have a full UK manual driving licence.
