helping increase their physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
Our philosophy at LLC is to offer parents the highest quality in-home care and

and grow. Here at Laylas Learning Center your children will experience success on a
daily basis, acquire a love of learning and build a positive self-image which is the center
three main goals.
Educational Setting
The educational programs are taught according to the child age group,
increasing a grade level or two depending on the learning pace of the child. LLC also
offers alternative language classes such as Spanish, (basic) sign language and
Chinese!!
Evaluation Weekly Learning Reports
Weekly reports are given to parents of children including the following: toddlers
and early preschooler. These evaluations are designed to act as a form of
communication tool between the parent and I so that we may work together to enhance
your child strengths along with addressing their needs. Parent/ teacher conferences are
available upon request or as required.
Parent Responsibilities
We ask that parents cooperate with LLC in complying with all government laws,
regulations and rules. Parents are required to bring their child/ children into the home
and see that their child is under supervision of his or her teacher/director before leaving
the premises. It is the parent(s) responsibility to maintain and supply accurate records.
This may include the following information and forms: Health, Registration, Medical,
Immunization, Transportation, Emergency, Parental agreements and field trips which
must be completed before enrollment.
Extra-curricular Activities
LLC provides our children with music classes once a week, as well as a variety of
extra-curricular activities such as Stretch & Grow and Creative Dance. All activities are
done on site during regular hours of operation.
Field Trips

(ages 3 and under must be accompanied by parent(s)). This is a fun way for children to
enhance their learning about their world. We make visits to the public library, shopping
malls, museums, amusement parks such as Six Flags, pet stores, restaurants, post
office and many more that are not listed. We encourage parents to join us!!
Nutrition Menus
LLC helps ensure that the students receive balanced, nutritious meals daily. We
serve breakfast, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack to all children with no additional
cost to you.
Safety Precautions
At LLC we know that your childs safety is of the utmost importance as well as
ours. Here at LLC we put safety first, from our safe age appropriate equipment on the
playground to our classrooms. In addition, we have a daily sign in/out sheet for each
child in the classroom at all times.
Introducing your Child to LLC
Adjusting to new faces, personalities and surroundings can be exciting for some
children and frightening to others. Listed below are a few recommendations that may be
of assistance during this important transition period.
o Talk to your child about school, teachers, friends and the wonders of learning
prior to the beginning of school.
o Try to generate enthusiasm!! Remember, your child looks to you for strength so
therefore your attitude is highly important in the development of your childs
healthy attitude towards school.
o Last but not least, good-byes. They are to be done before the child makes their
entrance into the school.
