MY AUTOBI OGRAPHY

OBJECTI VES:

selection, organization, and analysis of relevant content.
! CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.7.4 Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task,
purpose, and audience.

MATERI ALS:
! two sheets of notebook paper ! pencil with eraser

DI RECTI ONS:
Using the following template as a guide, write an autobiography detailing the most important details of your life.

YOUR AUTOBIOGRAPHY MUST:
! Be written on notebook paper
! Be completed in pencil
! Be written on every other line
! Include a title
! Demonstrate your best efforts as a writer in the areas of:
o Correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling
o Topic sentences, supporting details, and concluding sentences
o A minimum of 5-7 sentence paragraph

THIS WRITING ASSIGNMENT WILL BE COMPLETED IN THREE PARAGRAPHS, AND IT WILL BE ORGANIZED IN THE FOLLOWING
WAY:

! Paragraph #1: WHO ARE YOU IN LIFE?
o What is your name?
o When and where were you born?
o Where do you live?
o Where do you go to school?
o Who you live with?

! Paragraph #2: WHAT DOES LIFE MEAN TO YOU?
o What DOES life mean to you?
o Who are your friends?
o What is your daily/weekly routine?
o What are your favorite places to go?
o What do you like to do in your spare time?
o What are your absolute favorite things?

! Paragraph #3: WHAT IS YOUR OUTLOOK ON THE FUTURE?
o Where will you be in 10 or 15 years?
o How will you be living?
o What will you be doing for a living?
o Will you have children?
o Will you be married?

autobiography. They can assist
you with writing your
sentences in each paragraph.
